Elektric – Singer / Poet Elektric (Elisha Howe) is a 24 year old artist from the midlands. Her music fuses R&B, Indie and Hip-Hop, telling stories through a British melodic rap style. Elektric describes her music as therapy. TNF mag described Elektric as one of UK's top unconventional female creatives.

Hobbit - Sonic Artist / Beat boxer Hobbit (Jack Hobbs) has been a household name in the beatbox scene for the past 10 years. Live acts around the world and 1st place titles in major competitions have assured Hobbit’s credibility as an artist.

Ryan LoGisTic Harston - Dancer Starting in Contemporary, modern and jazz, LoGistTcs changed course in 2002 when he went to work with one of the most established Break Dance crews in the UK, winning tournaments in the UK, France & Germany. Known for his untouchable style and flair, he has received numerous awards and has travelled around the world.

Mohsen Nouri - Puppeteer Mohsen trained as a puppeteer at the Central School of Speech and Drama and has a long established working relationship with Theatre-Rites. Previous work for Theatre-Rites includes: In One Ear, Paradise, Mischief, Mojo, Bank On It and Rubbish.

Creative Team

Keith Saha – Co-director / Co-writer Keith Saha is Co-Artistic Director of 20 Stories High. Following an early career as an actor, composer and musical director, he founded 20 Stories High with Co-Artistic Director Julia Samuels and turned to writing and directing and developing plays with young artists using Hip-Hop Theatre with Puppetry and Mask.

Sue Buckmaster - Co-director / Co-writer Sue is the Artistic Director of Theatre-Rites and the fourth generation of theatre practitioners in her family. She has created 22 shows for Theatre-Rites and in addition has many years experience as director, puppetry specialist and teacher.

Miriam Nabarro - Designer Miriam is a London based theatre designer and artist. Recent credits include My Name Is... (Tamasha, Arcola, Tron), War Correspondents (Helen Chadwick Song Theatre, Birmingham Rep, GDIF), Anne and Zef (Co. of Angels / Salisbury), Bang Bang Bang (Out of Joint / Royal Court), Mad Blud (Theatre Royal Stratford East).

Douglas Kuhrt – Lighting Designer Credits include: Little Red Riding Hood, Aladdin (Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse); Tales from the MP3, Melody Loses Her Mojo, Whole (20 Stories High); All Creatures Great and Small, Last of the Duty Free, Black Coffee, Fallen Angels (Bill Kenwright Ltd); The Pitmen Painters (National/West End/Broadway/Tour).

Jonathan Everett – Sound Designer Previous Sound Designs Include:Cinderella, 101 Dalmatians (Travelling Light / Tobacco Factory Productions). Jonathan also ran the sound departments at Bristol Old Vic and Theatre Royal Bath.

Matt Hutchinson – Puppet Designer and Maker Matt trained in puppetry at the Central School of Speech and Drama. He works as a performer, director, consultant, designer and maker of puppets. He enjoys creating work that keeps puppetry and object theatre as a key element of the story telling whilst collaborating and fusing with other performance disciplines

Stitches and Glue (Paul Vincett) – Puppet Designer and Maker A creative design house of freelance puppet, toy, prop, costume makers and designers working within the special FX industry for theatre and Film based in London. Specialising is character design and creation. Currently busy working on a secret Movie project out of Pinewood Studios.

Jemima Robinson – Specialist Props Maker Jemima trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and was a winner of the biennial Linbury Prize for Stage Design in 2011. Formerly resident artist at Kenya’s Kuona Arts Trust, her arts installation ‘327 Unreported’ tackled head on the major issue of rape and gender violence in Kenya.
