Mogali Masuku Mogali graduated from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama December 2017. She left early to start her professional career playing Lady Macbeth for Iris Theatre Company. That was followed by her first film “The Scar” to be released this year. Mogali can also be heard on BBC Radio 4’s ‘The Archers’ playing new series regular Noluthando Madikane.

Munashe Chirisa Munashe is a Zimbabwean born actor, writer and stand up comedian. He studied biomedical science in Nottingham, prior to his degree in Performance Arts in Film, Stage and Television at New Buckinghamshire University. His debut stand up comedy outing was at the International African Comedy Show in London, as a resident comedian in 2013 whilst carrying out his studies. Munashe's breakout theatre performance was with Know My Mind Theatre, playing the lead role of Mr X. Television credits include Magamba TV's Zambezi News on Zambezi Magic in Southern Africa. His most recent theatrical work was with Icon Theatre in their production of The Silk Of A Thousand Spiders. The Zimbabwean performer continues to practice stand up comedy professionally, and produces his online sketch show titled, Munashe's Stories. He is represented by I AM EPIC Agents.

Creative Team 

Anna Coombs, Director Anna has commissioned over 30 writers and supported the career development of more than 100 artists. She was previously Head of Projects at Hall for Cornwall, where she directed many works including Marlowe’s The Jew of Malta in 2008 with Joseph Mydell as Barabas, the first black actor to play a Marlowe protagonist in a major UK revival.  Anna has directed at London’s Soho Theatre, National Theatre Studio, Rich Mix, Theatre 503, Gate Theatre, and in partnership with Yinka Shonibare’s Guest Projects. Her work is international in ambition looking at influences from Africa, the Caribbean and Europe. Directing for Tangle includes morality play Everyman (2009) in English and Yoruba, The Crossing (2012) in English and Twi, co-produced with Nottingham Playhouse, and Workshop Negative (2016) in English, Afrikaans, Shona and Ndebele, the UK premiere for leading Zimbabwean writer Cont Mhlanga.

Colin Falconer, Designer studied Interior and Environmental Design at The University of Dundee and Theatre Design at Nottingham Trent University. Recent credits include Romeo and Juliet, Three Sisters (Festival Theatre), The Misanthrope, The Secret Rapture, Hysteria, The Blue Room all at Chichester Festival Theatre and Theatre Royal Haymarket; Rumpelstiltskin (Theatre Royal Bath and The MAC Belfast), Travels with My Aunt (Menier Chocolate Factory), Blue/Orange(Theatre Royal Brighton and tour), There We Have Been/Everything and Nothing (Sadler’s Wells), The Importance of Being Earnest and Travesties (Birmingham Rep), Mustafa (Kali Theatre Company/Birmingham Rep and Soho Theatre), The Constant Wife, The Picture, Private Lives, The Winslow Boy,  Restoration and Northanger Abbey (Salisbury Playhouse), The Rime of the Ancient Mariner (Southbank Centre), The Jew of Malta (Hall for Cornwall), The Graft (Theatre Royal Stratford East), Blithe Spirit (Watford Palace Theatre) and The Merchant of Venice (RSC).

Hansjorg Schmidt, Lighting Designer is also Programme Director Lighting Design at Rose Bruford College. He graduated with a BA (First Class Honours) in Theatre Arts from Goldsmiths College, University of London and an MSc Built Environment: Light and Lighting from the Bartlett School, UCL. Recent designs include Workshop Negative (Tangle/Gate Theatre), The Glass Menagerie (Nuffield), The Red Chair (clod ensemble / touring), Men and Girls Dance and Dusk (fevered sleep / Young Vic Theatre), Stink Foot (The Yard Theatre), Krapp's Last Tape (Sheffield Crucible), Zero(clod ensemble / Sadlers Wells), Above Me The Wide Blue Sky (fevered sleep / Young Vic Theatre). Silver Swan (clod ensemble/Tate Modern). Other recent projects include Kew Kitchens, an architectural installation at Kew Palace; Fortress exhibition, Tower of London, and shows for Jessica Ogden and Mika Fukkai at London Fashion Week.

Drew Baumohl, Sound Designer trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in stage management and technical theatre. He was Deputy Head of Lighting and Sound at Nottingham Playhouse from 2005-2014 before turning freelance. Recent credits include Stacked /Bait (Almeida Theatre), The Kite Runner (Wyndham’s Theatre), Workshop Negative (Tangle /Gate Theatre); A Midsummer Night’s Dream (New Wolsey Theatre, directed by Trevor Nunn) and Sleeping Beauty (CAST, Doncaster).
