Untold Arts presents Untold Stories, a weekend of new writing by diverse artists for the stage

Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th February

Untold Stories continue their aim to discover and develop new and exciting plays to inspire, engage and resonate with this two day festival showcasing and celebrating brand new work by up and coming writers.

Presented by Untold Arts, a company that specialise in telling unknown stories from the past and present day, the plays over the weekend explore long distance relationships, the generation gap, truth and lies and identity.

On both nights Untold Stories will present 6 new plays:

Yellow Coat - Hannah Khalil

Charity begins at home, but as far as one young woman is concerned it can go no further

(Up) Rooted – Jung Sun den Hollander:

Adopted by western parents, John and Jose are facing the complexity of being uprooted. Both return  to Korea but what is it what they really want or what they feel they need to do?

On Arriving - Ivan Faute:

A Syrian refugee arrives for processing, what does she regret leaving behind the most?

I'll be Along D'reckly - Mark Lindow:

Grandpa Tony knows things have changed for the youth in Cornwall, but does his grandson really need to hear about it as he’s being driven to the church?

London-Damascus - Nick Myles:

All of Me - Martin Brett:
